HEATHER ZEEGEN LIEBERMAN
Heather Zeegen Lieberman is the Head of Operations at Hidden Pictures. After graduating from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994, Heather worked her way up the assistant ranks with stints at ICM and Twentieth Century Fox.
In 1996, Heather joined Original Film, where she produced “Cruel Intentions”, staring Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Made for a modest budget of $11 million, the film went on to gross over $75 million worldwide and spawned several television sequels, which Heather also produced. Heather also helped create the highly successful “The Fast and the Furious” franchise, producing the original as well as the second installment, “2 Fast 2 Furious”. The action films, staring Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, grossed well over $100 million each and the franchise continues to be one of Universal Pictures most lucrative brands. While working at Original Film, Heather also produced “The Glass House” staring Diane Lane and Leelee Sobieski. During her 10 years with the Sony based production company, Heather developed and produced several television projects which included “Manchester Prep” staring Amy Adams, for Columbia/Tristar and Fox. She produced “Cabin by the Lake” and “Class Warfare” for the USA Network as well.
Heather serves on the board of Penn Live Arts, where she has started an internship initiative that aims to place current students and recent Penn graduates with entertainment industry internships and entry level positions as well as help finance their living expenses in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.
